Rental Policies

Driver Licenses and Requirements

Valid Ontario class G2 or G license and International licenses are accepted.

Fuel

Vehicle must be returned at the same level of fuel as rented. A $25.00 of service charge plus fuel cost will apply if not returned at the same level.

Out of Province/USA Policy

The destination must be mentioned at the time of the rental. An additional $5.00/day will apply for out of province usage, and $10.00/day for USA usage.

Truck shifts

All moving trucks rentals are based on 6hrs shifts

Exotic Cars Deposit

Mileage Restrictions

Regular Vehicles Kilometers are 200km daily, 1400km weekly, and 3000km monthly. Additional kilometers are charged according to vehicle size.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations are subject to a one-day rental charge. Cancellations must be submitted 48hrs prior to pick up time to avoid full rental charge as per reservation.

Due to the demand on our fleet during high season, all cancellations on confirmed reservations are subjected to full rental charges as per the reservation.

LDW Policy

Any customers which decline our LDW packages must present proof of personal LDW/insurance at the rental counter at the time of pickup.

Age Requirements

Customer with own insurance or gold card has no age restrictions with valid driver license. Minimum Age is 23.

Additional Drivers

Per additional driver, a charge of $5.00 applies per day. Minimum Age for Additional Driver is 23.

Deposit Requirements

Cash deposits are not accepted. Advance Car And Truck Rental accepts the following rental deposits:

Pick-Ups And Drop-Offs

Free Pick-ups and drop-offs within radius of 15 kilometers, After Hours pick up & drop off surcharge of $50.00

Insurance Policies And Surcharges

Any renters which have transferable insurance or carry any Credit Card that covers rental insurance may transfer it to some rental vehicles. If transferable insurance is not confirmed at the time of the rental, customer is required to purchase one of the CDW packages offered by our company.

Customer with transferable Insurance must pay a surcharge of $9.99/day. For customers using Credit Cards as Insurance must buy liability coverage. A mandatory charge of $9.99/day applies for of liability or 3rd party coverage. Please note Credit cards only covers CDW (collision damage waiver) not damage to any property or 3rd party. Credit Card coverage only extends to the vehicle and not to any persons involved. Please contact your credit card insurance provider for more info.

Moving trucks, Luxury and Exotic vehicles are required to purchase one of the CDW packages offered.
